Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Tangalooma Island Resort is often described as a paradise, especially appealing to families, thanks to the dolphin feeding experience which is a highlight for many guests. The beaches with crystal-clear waters are great, as are the immaculately maintained pools; for those wanting to self-cater, the Deep Blue apartments include well-equipped kitchens and BBQ facilities on a great terrace. Some guests have noted that the food options can be somewhat limited, however, the spacious rooms offer a comfortable stay, and some rooms even provide lovely beach views from their small balconies.

Acceptable Stay

clean room beach view rude staff limited activities
The hotel room was good. It felt nice and clean. My room included a small balcony with a beach view. The dolphin experience stands out as a highlight. It was a good and educational experience.
The hotel food wasn't good. It seems most of the staff were backpackers. They put in little effort. Rain came when I was there. There were not many indoor activities. The room was not cleaned . New bath towels cost $5 each.

Balanced Experience at the Resort

efficient ferry friendly staff dolphin feeding crowded feeding desired tour daily service
The ferry transfers were efficient. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The wild dolphin feeding was a unique experience that I loved.
The dolphin feeding felt crowded, with too many people. I could not get on the tour I wanted, disappointing. I expected the room to be serviced daily for what I paid.
